And get this, rather than calling up the mayor and saying “Marie, is this a rogue concillor whos talking from the hip or an official government response,” as he could have done, Fantino just shoots his mouth (or rather his keyboard) and threatens the county.

Hmm, what a shock, didn’t I just say that the OPP would threaten the county if they even looked like they were supporting it’s own citizens? Wow, shocker. I didn’t expect it to be so brazen and blunt, but there you go.

As far as I’m concerned, bullying small towns is grounds for dismissal. I have no confidence in a police cheif thats going to take his officers and leave when the heat is on, simply because they don’t like the opinions of the people they are being paid to protect. They are there to keep law and order, not play politics.

Unfortunately, thats what Fantino has done from the outset of taking over hasn’t he? Been the unofficial mouthpiece for Dalton McChicken, who STILL doens’t have the nerve to come down to the site for fear of seeing the truth. Seeing what lawlessness and two-tier justice does to a community. When you give special privileges to terrorists, while ignoring the rest of the citizens.

Fantino, resign now, you dim-witted coward. You don’t sabre rattle against the people you are being paid to protect. You restore law and order, and arrest the law breakers. Is that so tough?
